Call of Duty World at War

Fun is a understatement

This game is great not good not ok but great. We had a lot of fun with game and it was fun that never left. First off I was worried because world war two game is enough to make your ears bleed. I was so over world war two, until I played this. Let me remind you the makers of this game are not the makers of call of duty modern warfare. World at War is made by trey arch the makers of Call of Duty 3. One of the first things I enjoyed were the fun yet challenging campaign mode. It is a long campaign but not so long where you will lose interest in the story. We noticed that the flame thrower is a fun and addicting addition to the Call of Duty series. Who wouldn’t want to run around with a flame thrower and touch people. Although it doesn’t come very handy during multiplayer mainly because of the fast paced environment. You really get a sense of pride and attachment with this game because you really feel like you fighting the Japanese and Nazi fronts. So the ending is great and very emotional. Another topic about this game we wanted to cover is the multiplayer.One of the huge minor chages with a big impact are the kill streak bonuses. Instead of air strike you get artillery strike and Instead of helicopter you get dogs. We definitely feel like we need to mention the fact that there is the same rank up feel as previous version Call of Duty 4. But one of the biggest improvements on this is that you can rank higher and it takes longer, so you really cant sit down and get to the 10th prestige in a month its probably going to take you awhile. Also there are many more perks and weapons to choose from. The weapons for some reason don’t feel so World War Two but that could be a good or bad thing depends on who your talking to. The only major negative we could pull out of this game was the graphics are not up to par with Call of Duty 4.Well overall this is a must have for any fan of first person shooter or just a fan of a good fun game. Bottom line on this is a 9.5.
